Official British Tennis Registered Venue

We are pleased to report that Grundisburgh Tennis Club is an official British Tennis Registered Venue demonstrating that we are fully compliant with the LTA’s Minimum Safeguarding Standards and that we meet the following criteria:

 

  • A Safeguarding Policy is in place that is communicated to all at the venue
  • A Diversity & Inclusion Policy is in place that is communicated to all at the venue
  • A trained Welfare Officer is in place who oversees safeguarding at the venue
  • All appropriate volunteers & staff have undertaken a Criminal Records Check
  • The venue has undertaken an Annual Risk Assessment
  • All level 3-5 coaches are LTA Accredited

Introduction

Grundisburgh Tennis Club has 3 all-weather hard courts situated on the Grundisburgh playing field, behind the leylandii hedge. We are situated about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the centre of Grundisburgh.

Please ensure you include the names of all participants when booking courts as this helps facilitate contact tracing. The court booking system can be accessed through the tab above.

  • Adult: £58
  • Family (2 Adults + 3 Children.  Additional children at half junior rate): £100
  • Junior: £22
  • Couple: £79
  • Senior: £48

Wimbledon ticket ballot

As a member of Grundisburgh Tennis Club you are eligible to enter the LTA Advantage Wimbledon Ballot. This provides you with the opportunity to purchase tickets for the Wimbledon Championships. There are two steps you must follow to be eligible:

  • You must first become an LTA Advantage Play+ member if you are not already. Go to https://www2.lta.org.uk/advantage/ and sign up choosing the Advantage Play+ membership option which is free.
  • You must then opt-in to the ballot each year. This opt-in process usually starts around the beginning of December and the deadline is usually at the beginning of February. The LTA usually send a reminder for you to opt-in once you are an LTA Advantage Play+ member. To opt-in go to your LTA account, click "Benefits" in the left hand menu, select "The Championships, Wimbledon", select "LTA Wimbledon Ballot Opt In" then "LTA Advantage Wimbledon Ballot Opt In" and press the "Opt In" button. It should then say "Ballot entered" showing the date entered.
